This opera begins with the marriage ceremony of Will and Mark. This storyline quickly fast-forwards 7 years, when the unhappy couple spends their last night together packing up and dividing their belongings. Their two friends are constantly texting to check on Will and Mark’s status, and also providing non sequitur updates on the girlfriend’s own lives.
